Local author Geoff Lee (pictured) will be in Waterstones in Bradford on Saturday from 10.30am onwards, signing copies of his latest novel “Two Seasons”.
It is set during the 2002 and 2003 seasons with a familiar backdrop of work, family, old friends and rugby league.
Like his first four novels, the story has a strong and humourous Yorkshire- Lancashire background, being inspired by the old saying about work that ‘They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller’.
His chapter titles give a good indication of content, varying from The Good Yorkshireman, An evening in Bailiff Bridge and Listening to Eddie and Stevo to A day out In Wigan, The Bolton wanderer and A day on the M62.
Some of his story lines spread much further afield too as The Welsh girl from Wrexham, E-Mails from Amsterdam and A Swedish affair indicate.
