Eighteen of the 25 JCT600 Bradford League clubs are among a record 2,228 who are taking part nationwide in NatWest CricketForce this weekend.

They are Baildon, Bradford & Bingley, Cleckheaton, East Bierley, Farsley, Gomersal, Great Horton, Hartshead Moor, Keighley, Lightcliffe, Morley, New Farnley, Pudsey Congs, Pudsey St Lawrence, Saltaire, Undercliffe, Woodlands and Yeadon.

In addition, 17 Mewies Solicitors Craven League clubs – which include Airedale, Bingley Congs, Bradley, Crossflatts, Denholme, Haworth, Haworth West End, Hepworth & Idle, Ingrow, Oakworth, Riddlesden, Sandy Lane, Sutton and Wilsden – are also involved.

The record total has also been swollen by Ben Rhydding, Calverley, Green Lane, Horsforth, Horsforth Hall Park, Ilkley, Menston, Pool, Skipton, Steeton and Thackley from the Aire-Wharfe League.

Also sprucing up their facilities before the new season starts are Buttershaw St Paul’s, Mirfield Parish Cavaliers, Northowram Fields and Rodley from the Central Yorkshire League, Crompark and Drighlington Whitehall from the Dales Council League, as well as Cullingworth, Jer Lane, Low Moor HT and Shelf of the Foster’s Halifax League and Quaid-e-Azam League outfit Karmand Community Centre.
