Wibsey Warriors have the opportunity to make the final of the Pennine President's Cup on Saturday when they take on Leeds outfit Queens.

The Warriors have the big advantage of playing at their Northfield Road home against a side who will prove a stern test.

Queens are known as a powerful, uncompromising team who are sure to bring the fight to Wibsey, and home coach Jason Hirst will look to inspirational forward Harry Hall to lead their pack, while Nick Walker and Mike Batty are also in fine form.

Queensbury also have home advantage in their BARLA National Cup third-round tie against Slaithwaite Saracens.

Queenie are strong on their home turf at Hill Top and will be in confident mood, having done the league double over Saracens, including a 24-14 scoreline last month.

Coach Andy Senior will be out for a fast start and will lead from the front, while prop Lee Kelly never takes a backward step.

Scott Swann is a big danger from the wing, and his goal-kicking talent may well prove the difference.

Birkenshaw have the chance to leapfrog opponents Newsome Panthers if they can achieve a home win over the Huddersfield outfit in their Pennine League Championship Division One clash.

Odsal Sedbergh can close the gap on second-placed Brotherton Bulldogs in Division One if they can post their eighth win of the campaign, while Wyke are back in action after last week's controversial false start when they entertain Selby Warriors at the Recreation Ground.
