Bradford Dudley Hill 16, Kells 42

Bradford Dudley Hill slumped to a heavy National Conference League defeat against Division Two leaders Kells at Parry Lane.

A Hill side lacking nine regulars due to a stag do looked capable of upsetting the odds when they took an early 6-0 lead following a Ryan Dickinson try and a penalty goal from centre Gavin Mezals.

But the unbeaten Cumbrians showed their pedigree by reaching the interval with a decisive 22-6 advantage.

The lively Dickinson rallied the troops when he crossed for his second try, leaving Mezals to add the extras again.

But it was one-way traffic from then on, only interrupted by an unconverted try by home wingman Gareth Ramsden.

The other Dickinson brothers, Sean and Alex, were also outstanding for the hosts.
