Brighouse Town maintained the pressure on the top two in the Toolstation Northern Counties East Premier Division and kept their title tilt on track with another win.
Town had to battle at struggling Nostell MW but they eventually wore their hosts down. Tom Matthews edged them into a 53rd-minute lead and recent signing Jason Price wrapped it up when he netted the second with a little over quarter of an hour remaining.
Paul Quinn’s men stay third, eight points off the summit but with four games in hand.
Leaders Tadcaster Albion and second-placed Barton Town both had big away wins, 4-0 and 6-0 respectively.
