KEIGHLEY AC

The coarse fishing season ended on March 14, restricting the use of bait on all local rivers over the next three months. The club’s canal and stillwater sites remain unaffected. To mark the end of the coarse season, the club have announced a series of Sunday canal matches. The draw for the opening competition on March 30 will take place at 9am on Belton Road, Silsden. In addition to a winner’s trophy for the highest aggregate weight total, there will be a range of supplementary prizes, including money. The club are also considering offering a super cash pool if there is sufficient interest in the four-match series. For full details, telephone match secretary Darren Watson 07795-243332.
