Bradford Dudley Hill lost 28-16 at Stanley Rangers in National Conference Division Two.
Hill made a blistering start when they galloped into a 10-0 lead with tries from packman Tony Lawton and centre Gavin Mezals, together with a conversion from scrum half Simon Sewell.
Stanley, who were also undefeated going into the game, hit back to change ends 24-10 up.
Hill gave themselves a fighting chance when hooker Kyle Carter quickly reduced the deficit on the restart but it was the hosts who held on to claim the spoils.
