Wibsey 10, Stanley Rodillians 43
Wibsey only had 15 players and, with several backs among the forwards, they proved too lightweight in the pack and were pushed off the ball in this SSE Yorkshire Division Five derby.
Trailing 17-0 at half-time at Northfield Road, the hosts improved in the second half, getting tries from full back Scott Smith and flanker Niall Nolan as Bryn Worsley weaved his magic.
However, an injury to their forward enforcer Alex Cerson meant that the game went to uncontested scrums.
Centres John Nall and Martin Howarth were in the second row and winger Ryan Isaacs and centre Nolan, who was man of the match, were in the back row.
