Heckmondwike Cycle Speedway Club return to the track on Sunday for their first Northern League fixture of the season.
Hull are the visitors to Firth Park, with racing starting at 2pm.
The Heckmondwike outfit start their 43rd season as an affiliated club, with numbers boosted by an influx of new members to show the sport is increasing in popularity.
Races consist of four riders on a 75-metre oval track competing round four laps, with bikes having no brakes and contact allowed.
The Heckmondwike club train every Wednesday from 7.30-9pm at their Firth Park venue. Bikes, helmets and gloves can be provided and it is free to have a go.
