Muhammad Ali has booked his place to next month’s World Youth Championships after triumphing in the Three Nations competition in Scotland.
The 17-year-old Keighley prospect took his impressive tally to 61 wins in 70 bouts by beating Welshman Kane Shepherd and Scottish favourite Steven Boyle in Edinburgh.
Ali, who was boxing at 52kg, has now been selected to represent Great Britain in Bulgaria and flies out with the rest of the squad to Sofia on April 10.
