Harris Hussain scored an emphatic victory in his latest fight as he gained revenge for a controversial defeat to opponent Michael Roughley last year.

Hussain, a member of the Muay Thai Boxing Club in Bradford, lost on a unanimous decision when the pair met in a Fighting Machines promotion in September.

A rematch was always on the cards as many observers felt the outcome did not truly reflect the contest, with Hussain leading the calls.

And he proved his point in decisive style by taking all five rounds when the pair met again, reversing the decision against the more experienced Roughley.

Also fighting out of trainer Alex Abusin’s camp was Frank Horvath, who took a bout against an up-and-coming opponent at just 12 days’ notice.

Horvath fought with typical heart and spirit but lost on points, although it may have been a different story with more time to prepare.
