Jarrod Sammut looks certain to make his debut for Wakefield against the Bulls on Thursday after being included in their 19-man squad.

Sammut, who signed for the Wildcats on Friday, was in Cardiff today to transfer his visa paperwork over and ensure his application was fast-tracked to make him eligible to play.

Sammut replaces the injured Jimmy Keinhorst, who sustained a hamstring injury on his debut during Sunday's defeat at Salford.

Wouldn't you have thought the muppets would have written it into the transfer deal he couldn't play against us? Words fail me!

Agreed, complete idiots. It's nailed on he will get a brace of tries.
Why not delay the signing until this week or put a clause in the sale that he can't play against the Bulls. I'm sure Wakefield would have agreed to it as part of the sale.

Or he might not find touch with his penalties and miss some tackles in their defensive line. Hopefully.

Either way, if they're paying him more than we were then it will unsettle the rest of their squad and with home gates of no more than 5000 lead to sammut once again playing for a team in Administration!!

How he thinks he'll get paid next year if they get relegated is beyond me. Wakefield are gambling everything on staying up just like did in the pre licencing days which resulted in their administration. and 4 points deduction but no loss of TV money for some reason!!!!

lump on him for first try, any time try scorer and even a hat trick!

Remember he made his debut for Celtic Crusaders against Bulls and run us ragged….
