SALTAIRE AA Pike match result on Sunday, January 19: 1 M Taffs 22lb 6oz (two fish of 9lb 12oz and 11lb 8oz), 2 D Senior 12lb 8oz. There is a river match planned for Sunday. This is likely to be pegged on the Ellis Briggs and Shipley boats lengths. There will be a series of working parties at Tong Park. The first is on Saturday, March 1 (9.30am). BRADFORD No 1 AA Last weekend’s open match at Cowthorpe on the River Nidd was cancelled on the morning due to the river being flooded. Maunby, Gatenby and Catton, on the River Swale, will be closed tomorrow for the RSPS Team Masters’ match. Members are reminded to ensure that gates are closed at all times on all of the club’s waters. A limited number of night permits are still available for Knotford and Kirklees from Simon on 01706-526356. Raskelf Lake is fishing very well for F1s, tench and roach.

LISTERHILLS AA Catches of small fish from the canal opposite boats, with bread punch the best bait, followed by pinkie. The River Aire has not been at a suitable level for some time but should fish well when the level drops. At Pilley’s, a few medium-sized pike are succumbing to lures. E Harrison went back to the swim, which produced the top weight in the last match, and had four bream for 22lb. All catch reports are appreciated.

BINGLEY AC With poor weather conditions and the rivers still in flood, there is little to report on the fishing front this week. We will try again to hold the annual committee match in Myrtle Park on Sunday, February 23.
