Scott Waites was holder of the Dutch Open
Bradford’s Scott Waites has finished runner-up in the Dutch Open, which attracts the biggest entry in darts.
The holder, who also won the event in 2007 for his first major success, was beaten 3-2 in the final by Ross Montgomery of Scotland from a field of 2,434 men, earning the Pennine Housing worker 2,500 euros.
