Jamie Foster insists he has no intentions of leaving the Bulls – and has never even contemplated the prospect.

The winger has attracted interest from London Broncos as they begin filling their squad, and Hull KR have also been linked with the 23-year-old.

The Bulls’ bid to make savings of up to £400,000 remains ongoing but, apart from Frank Winterstein, none of Francis Cummins’ squad have departed and many have stated their desire to stay.

Former St Helens man Foster has joined that growing band by declaring: “I don’t want to leave Bradford – it’s as simple as that.

“I’m so grateful for what Francis Cummins has done for me here. I can’t sing his praises enough and I really love it at Bradford.

“When you feel that way, you don’t want to show any interest in playing elsewhere. I’ve had a couple of conversations with my agent but only basically telling him what I’ve been told about what’s happening behind the scenes.

“I’ve also sat down my grandad and he tells me how it is.

“But as for leaving? I’ve not even thought about it.

“I’m just concentrating on getting the best out of my coaching at Bradford and no other Super League team, without a doubt.”

Foster’s debut campaign at the Provident Stadium was interrupted by injury last season as he ruptured a pectoral muscle during the Challenge Cup victory at Rochdale in April.

By his own admission, he returned to action prematurely during the nightmare Magic Weekend defeat to Huddersfield the following month.

But Foster has revealed he is now in tip-top condition as he prepares to face Hull FC in Sunday’s opening pre-season friendly.

He said: “We were low on numbers last year and I had to play.

“Looking back, I probably shouldn’t have but I did and I can’t turn back the clock.

“It was just a matter of getting it fully right during the off-season and it feels right now when I’m lifting weights and wrestling. It shouldn’t be hampering my performance at all this year.

“Despite having a pretty rough year with injuries last season, I didn’t do too badly, so hopefully I can go one better, stay injury-free and put in some good performances on that left-hand side.”

Foster is looking forward to coming across a few familiar faces on Sunday when the Bulls take on a Hull side now coached by former Bulls star Lee Radford.

Foster enjoyed a successful loan spell at the KC Stadium during the second half of the 2012 campaign.

He played nine consecutive games, scoring five tries and kicking 45 goals, amassing an impressive tally of 110 points to help Hull reach the play-offs.

Foster remembered: “Going to Hull was a good move for me – they’re a massive club and they will bring a decent following with them on Sunday.

“They always turn out in numbers and it surprised me when I went there how big the club was.

“It will be good to catch up with a few people but, to be quite honest, I’ve got bigger fish to fry now at Bradford.

“As much as I’ll enjoy speaking to them after the game, even though it’s a friendly, this season we’re here to win.

“The talking is over and we’ve got to start performing. We’re all looking forward to doing that.”
