Bradford Dragons are seeking county-wide support for their two home games this weekend as they push for the summit of English Basketball League Division One.

Second-placed Dragons start the new year with two top-of-the-table clashes which could define their 2014 league future.

Bradford face Manchester Magic tomorrow (6.15pm) and Essex Leopards on Sunday (2.15pm), both in the Dragons' Den - Trinity Green sports hall, Bradford College, Trinity Road, Bradford BD5 0JE - and Bradford will be seeking revenge on both days.

The Dragons lost to Manchester Magic, who have a 6-4 win-loss record this season, after overtime in the National Trophy in early season.

Leopards have a 6-2 win-loss and have a game in hand on the Dragons (7-2), having snapped their seven-game winning streak in the last league fixture before Christmas.

Bradford Dragons' chairman Stuart Culliford said: "Both games should be tough as all three sides play strong team defence and the results this week will go a long way to defining the season for all three teams.

"If you want to shake off the festive cobwebs with some full-throttle, exciting end-to-end basketball in the New Year, be at the Dragons Den for these games."

Admission is £5 for adults, £2.50 for under-18s, students, concessions etc and £10 for a family ticket [two adults, two children).
