South African Devon Petersen, who used to train at Cue Gardens in Bradford, is through to the third round of the Ladbrokes World Darts Championships for the first time after defeating world No 11 Justin Pipe at Alexandra Palace today.

Petersen, who defeated former world champion Steve Beaton in the first round, now faces James Wade.
