These Christmas games are going to be huge. Peterborough away will be hard and then everyone is looking at Rotherham at Valley Parade on Boxing Day.

What an occasion that’s going to be with two very good teams on show. I know a lot of people go on about Rotherham but you can’t knock the fact they are doing well.

I’m horrendous watching games at the best of times and that’s a game I would have absolutely loved to be involved in. We want to get one over them at last.

It’s been frustrating the number of draws we’ve had but I don’t think it takes much to turn those into wins again.

It just seems we always pull it back right at the end of games and find an extra gear in that last five minutes. As soon as the board goes up for added time, we just step up a level.

That shows the spirit we’ve got in the squad to keep fighting right to the end. You’ve got to give the lads credit for that because this is a tough division but we’re more than holding our own.

We kept chipping away in the Orient game and just like against Coventry, we came up with another equaliser right before the end.

It seems teams back off and start to get nervous as the clock ticks on. I think we’re getting a bit of a reputation for keeping going right until the 95th minute.

It would have been interesting if we’d just scored five minutes earlier. I’d have fancied us to go on and nick it, even against the team top of the league.

This Christmas period now is so important. We want to stay as close to that play-off spot as possible and there are a lot of teams breathing down our neck.

But I’m sure the boys will deliver and the way we’re playing, I can see us picking up a decent number of points.

Somebody is going to get a good hiding before long – and hopefully it might be Rotherham!
