POLICE are seeking the public's help in identifying this man following an assault in a club in Southend.

A man was in the Chameleon club, in Lucy Road, on Saturday October 12, when he was approached by a man between 1.35am and 1.40am.

The suspect then punched the victim in the face causing him to fall to the ground.

He was repeatedly punched and kicked.

The suspect left the club immediately after the assault which took place close to the toilet area at the foot of the stairs.

The victim required hospital treatment for his injuries but fortunately he was not seriously injured.

Officers investigating the assault would like to hear from anyone who believes they know the man in the image or from anyone who was in the club at the time who may have seen the incident.
