Wolves boss Kenny Jackett: Bantams are top-six material
Wolves boss Kenny Jackett believes City have what it takes to sustain a play-off challenge.
Jackett has been impressed with their progress so far – but not surprised.
He said: “I do see Bradford having momentum. They came into this division in a very positive place with not much to lose, as most promoted sides.
“After that, they will be looking to back it up as a big club with a good structure and good crowd at a good ground.
“It’s one of the clubs in League One that is geared to go to the Championship.
“So it’s no surprise that they have done very well and I feel both Bradford and Rotherham would have enough capabilities to certainly get themselves into the top six this season.”
Jackett has a lot of time for his opposite number Phil Parkinson – the pair enjoyed good contests in their Millwall and Charlton days.
He added: “Phil’s a good guy. He’s an experienced manager and they had a tremendous season last year when you look at everything they did.”
And Wolves have pinpointed Kyel Reid as City’s biggest threat.
“Reid has had a very good season,” said Jackett. “He’s very quick and direct.
“He’s dropped down a couple of levels and it looks like he’s on the way back up.
“Both our full backs are going to have to be on top form and, midfield-wise, make sure we double up on him.”
