TVR United stun Tyersal in Bradford & District Saturday Cup

Tyersal suffered a shock defeat in the Bradford & District FA Saturday Senior Cup, despite having led 5-2 at TVR United.
The Spen Valley League side found their shooting boots to win 8-6, with Jund Taj, Asif Iqbal and Mohammed Abid scoring braces to add to efforts by Faisal Shabir and Hasleeb Rehman.
A Damian Rushworth hat-trick, an Andy Bailey double and a single strike from Graeme Sides proved insufficient for Tyersal,
Two top local teams in Campion and Field met in the second round at Manningham Mills, with West Yorkshire League side Field winning 4-0 with goals from Mat Hartley (2), Lee Burgess and Chris Wood.
Holders Salts moved into the semi-finals with a 5-1 success against Tyersals Reserves, Kyle Berry, Sam Waterhouse, Andy Howland Lee Newall and an own goal making up the tally, with Jamie McEwen replying.
Hunsworth eased into the quarter-finals, with Andrew Wood scoring a hat-trick to complement Joel Farrar and Dale Wright in a 5-1 home win over Yorkshire Amateur League side Calverley United.
Old Headingley booked both their teams into the last eight. Their first team, with two goals from Sam Pickup and one by Paul Booth, beat Dudley Hill Rangers 3-1, while their second team had a 2-1 home win over Salts Reserves.
St Bede's Old Boys, with a 3-0 victory over Campion Reserves, and Thackley, who beat BD3 United 5-1, also advanced into the quarter-finals.
With the tie played in front of a higher than normal crowd, the outcome was in the balance right up to the final whistle, with Oxenhope snatching the winner as the game looked to be heading towards extra-time.
Steeton’s scorers were Andy King, Adam Spencer, Peter Hanson and an own goal, while Oxenhope had three from Mick Garnett and two from James Bailey.
After three successive victories, Wibsey were brought down to earth when visitors Storthes Hall Reserves returned home with a 5-3 victory from their West Riding County Amateur League Division One clash at Westwood Park.
Joe Armour, Mick Burke and Danny O’Donnell were on target for Wibsey, while Mick Hall, with a hat-trick, and a Lewis Robertson brace, were Storthes Hall's scorers.
West Horton picked up all three points from their trip to Bay Athletic Reserves, with Lee Smith scoring all of the goals.
