Ross McCormack glad to be back for Leeds United

The striker was on international duty with Scotland, who beat Croatia 2-0, but did not feature and admits he is itching to get back to action.
McCormack (pictured) said: “I’m just looking forward to playing again. I’ve been away with Scotland and trained for seven days but not playing on Tuesday evening was frustrating and I am desperate to get playing again on Saturday.”
Strike partner Noel Hunt remained at the training ground during the two-week break and used the time wisely by putting in the hard work at Thorp Arch.
He said: “A few of the boys got away but a couple of us stayed behind and were working on a few bits and pieces.
“It’s different during the international break, some of the boys are away so the younger ones get to come in and get involved. It’s good to see what they have got to give.
“We won at home last time against Bournemouth and we deserved to win and we can build on that at home.
“We can keep making Elland Road at fortress to play at and keep getting the hard fought results.
“That’s the way it is going to be in this league and we need to do that again on Sunday.”
