Women’s Mixed Martial Arts (also known as cage fighting) has never been more popular, with Miesha Tate and UFC champion Ronda Rousey starring in the hit TV reality show “The Ultimate Fighter”.
To encourage women of Bradford to take up the sport, head coach of BradfordMMA.com, Mark Spencer, will be running a four-week women only MMA course from October 27.
“Mixed Martial Arts is the most complete fighting system,” said Spencer. “Students have to learn punching, kicking, throws and ground grappling. We are keen to get every part of the Bradford community involved in this sport and hope to get more women involved.”
