No kidding, five-year-old Khan is one to watch
Five year-old Khunais Khan is hoping to become a big hit within the boxing world.
The Home Farm primary school student first put on the gloves at the age of four and has not looked back since.
The young fighter trains at Round One ABC gym in Bradford and his dad, Ismail, has high hopes for his son’s future, despite his tender age.
He said: “Ever since the age of three he has had a mad passion for it and wanted to become a boxer.
“He made me take him to the gym when he was about four and they first thought that he was a bit too young for it. But he then showed the guys at the gym that he could put in the hard work and dedication needed.
“He just wants to train every day after school and we take him to the gym every weekend.
“He spars with seven and eight-year-olds and he keeps up with them as well. All he wants to do is be a fighter and everyone really thinks that he’ll go far.
“It’s an early stage at the minute but our ultimate goal for him would be to see him get to the Olympics.”
