Entry fees for Bradford events reduced
Entry forms for the major Bradford championships have now been distributed to all clubs.
These include the Heys Trophy, Bradford’s premier team snooker knockout event, as well as the Bradford snooker singles and pairs competitions.
Entries are also being taken for the prestigious Moorhouse Shield billiards event, with forms having been distributed to those clubs who have participated in recent seasons.
Fees have been slightly reduced this season to encourage more entries after a low turnout last year and given the current economic climate.
The Bradford Association felt this was deemed a fair proposition after discussions with numerous players over the last few months.
Entry forms can also be downloaded from Bradford’s website, set up towards the end of last season and which is still in the process of being developed further.
The website address for this site is bsa-cuesports.com.
The Yorkshire Inter-District Snooker League gets underway on the weekend of October 12-13, with Division One defending champions Bradford-1 travelling to newly-promoted Ossett, while Bradford-2 host Wakefield-2 in Division Two after getting promoted last season.
