Date for Terry Clawson's funeral
The funeral of former Bradford Northern forward Terry Clawson will take place next Thursday at Pontefract Crematorium (11.20am) after he died suddenly at his home this week aged 73.
The 1972 World Cup-winner enjoyed a distinguished career as a ball-handling forward with Featherstone, Bradford, Leeds, Oldham, York, Wakefield and Hull from 1962-1980 and was capped 14 times by Great Britain.
The Great Britain player fought off a severe bout of tuberculosis to enjoy a 23-year career which spanned four decades and brought him more than 2,500 points from 640 appearances.
