New Bradford City suite will jog 2013 memories
Fans can relive City’s historic double Wembley season at Valley Parade’s new 2013 suite.
The room, formerly the patron’s suite, is a tribute to the fantastic achievements from last season. It opens its doors today to coincide with the Sheffield United game.
Shirts, photographs and mementoes of the incredible run to the Capital One Cup final and the play-off success are proudly on display.
It was the brainchild of joint-chairman Mark Lawn and bantamspast museum curator David Pendleton after a quote from Phil Parkinson following City’s success at overcoming Aston Villa to reach the cup final.
Parkinson suggested the heroes of 2013 should be honoured in the same way as the 1911 suite commemorates the club’s one FA Cup triumph.
