BRADFORD & DISTRICT SEA AC

Our next trip is to Rhyl on Wednesday, September 18. Anyone wishing to go, please ring Dave on 07711-987833 to book a place.

We had a very busy August with 16 tope caught and returned at Culdaff, all in the 20lb-40lb bracket. Roger Smith caught the biggest, a cracker of 45lb which is a new club record.

At Rhyl, some of our anglers also caught tope. Brian Clarkson had the biggest of 38lb and Dave Phillips had one of 37lb.

But the best news of all was that one of our anglers caught and returned a Porbeagle shark of 320lb when fishing from Whitby. It took him 2hr 40min to land it. This is also a club record.
