Gareth Ramsden and Damian Smith wing it for Bradford Dudley Hill
Bradford Dudley Hill 36, Millom 6
Bradford Dudley Hill used the pace and power of wingmen Gareth Ramsden and Damian Smith to outflank Millom in their National Conference League Division One clash at Parry Lane.
Ramsden set the tone for a second successive win with two tries in the opening ten minutes as Hill took control against the Cumbrians.
This was soon followed by another score from stand-off Nathan Kitson, who added his third conversion for an 18-0 lead.
Prop Tony Lawton completed the interval tally when he crossed for an unconverted effort to leave the hosts virtually out of sight at 22-0.
The second half started slowly until Smith crossed for his first try, which spurred Millom into action with hooker Lee Edmondson crossing for their only touchdown.
Kitson was on hand to cross the chalk for his brace and Smith had the final say when he recorded his second with just a minute left on the clock.
Hill manager Steve Wright said: “We were very solid in the first half, with Ryan Dickinson and Nathan Kitson controlling the game.
“It petered out in the second half, with both sides being extremely sloppy, although Smith was outstanding and caused problems throughout.”
