The Bradford Sunday Alliance League started their new season with a programme of Premier Division and First Division matches.
Adam Barlow opened the scoring with a penalty after Terry Ryan was brought down in the box, and Ryan added the second with a near-post shot.
Barlow grabbed a second early in the second half and Graeme Sides opened his account to make it 4-0 before Sandy scored two late consolation goals via Tom O'Hara and Jayden Richards.
In the First Division, Lane Ends managed a winning start on their debut in the second tier, defeating White Eagles in a seven-goal thriller.
The hosts ran into an early lead but the visitors levelled after regaining their composure via two penalty kicks, only for Lane Ends to snatch a late winner. Dale Howard had a brace for the home team and Dean Walters and James O'Brien also adding goals.
Napoleons Casino kicked off with a 6-1 victory over Ancient Forresters. Marcus Edwards was on the mark with a double, further goals coming from Karl Butler, James Gorman, Aidan Rhodes and Matt Dempsey, whose effort was an 18th birthday present.
Buttershaw Celtic won 3-2 at Thornbury Celtic thanks to a late Liam Keely strike.
In the second half, Bobby Canning doubled the lead for the home team and then they went three goals clear with a rare goal from veteran Paddy Dunne, although the visitors pulled a goal back via a defensive mistake near the end.
