Noel Whittaker scored a hat-trick as Oakenshaw claimed a superb 6-1 home win against Huddersfield Irish Centre in the West Riding County FA Sunday Cup.

The only all-Bradford Sunday Alliance clash between Division One high-fliers Eccleshill United and Buttershaw White Star fell victim to the weather and will now be played this Sunday.

There was also disappointment for Bolton Woods and Royal Clayton, who both bowed out of the competition, but Oakenshaw, Albion Sports and Ring o' Bells Shipley all made progress.

The top result as far as Bradford teams were concerned was Oaken-shaw's as they brushed aside a useful Irish Centre outfit.

Liam Dolan fired the hosts in front after ten minutes, James Flowers then doubled their lead and further goals by Whittaker and Gary Marshall earned a solid four-goal cushion.

Oakenshaw carried on in the second half in similar fashion, with Whittaker completing his treble before the visitors claimed a late consolation.

Another Premier Division team to go through were Albion Sports, who were comfortable 9-1 winners at Shipley Town. Asif Hussain struck a hat-trick while Kevin Towley and Narinda Sandu both scored twice.

Ring o' Bells of Division One visited Birkenshaw and progressed 3-1 thanks to goals by Anthony Auty, Chris MacMannan and Kieron Mularkey.

One of the biggest surprises was Bolton Woods going out 2-0 at Leeds team Halton Moor, while Royal Clayton were defeated by the same score at home to Halifax outfit Royal Hotel.

There were also defeats for Nab Wood Juniors and Gaping Goose in the County FA Sunday Trophy.

Nab Wood crashed 5-0 to Old Bridge Inn and Gaping Goose lost 2-0 to Leeds-based Goose FC.

Only two Premier Division games were played due to cup commitments and bad weather conditions and West Bowling were able to claim a 4-2 win at Whetley Lane.

Damian Melville (2), Chris Wood and James Bream fired Bowling into a four-goal advantage, before Carl Trinnary and Nathan Barraclough salvaged some pride for the hosts.

There was no joy for rock-bottom Chellow as they slumped 9-1 at home to Queensbury.

Eastward took full advantage of the top two teams in Division One not playing by defeating Wibsey WMC 5-2 to move to the summit.

Len Worby's double was supported by goals for both Alan Morley junior and senior, as well as Phillip Clarke, for the hosts. P Henson and D Tordoff replied.

A surprise result saw relegation-threatened Eccleshill thrash Oakworth Juniors 6-2.

The experienced Chris Peltier notched a hat-trick and Paul Simms added a brace, with Dean Owczarek also on target.

Crown Wyke went in front through Brett Missin but then crumbled to a 3-1 defeat at home to Dudley Hill Rangers, who had a player dismissed before half-time.

Rangers took advantage of a strong wind after the interval as James Firth (2) and Jamie Mckewan scored.

Division 1A basement club Quarry have yet to register a point and lost 5-1 at Oddfellows Athletic, for whom Mark Cordingley notched a hat-trick and Dale Dunn added a double.

Bishop Rovers maintained their run of form with a 3-1 victory over Victoria Rangers as Ebad Rashid, Mohammed Asif and Manny Hussain scored.

George Hotel kept up the pressure at the top of the table as Niel Milner, Bob Ward and Martin Puddleworth netted in a 3-1 victory over Hudsons, who relied through Simon Inch.

Wrose Bull and visiting Greengates Albion played out a 1-1 draw, with Andy Gallagher scoring for the hosts.

Division 1B leaders Tyersal saw off bottom club Saltaire Rangers with ease, Andy Bailey hitting four of the goals in a 6-1 verdict. And Steve Zyzewski scored twice as Wibsey WMC Reserves sank Ventus United 4-0.

John Selby bagged a hat-trick as high-flying Otley Road beat George & Dragon 6-1 in a one-sided Division 2A encounter.

Andy Smith's consolation counted for little as Danny Mullarky (2) and Shane McGougan completed the visitors' tally.

With Gaping Goose in cup action, Albion Sports C moved up to fourth spot with a 3-2 win at bottom side Bankfoot Lions as Steve Lacy, Latvinder Singh and Daniel Harrison supplied the goals.

Hare & Hounds led 5-0 at half-time against Druids but were pegged back to a final score of 6-4. Paul Noble's hat-trick proved decisive, with Chris Hinch-cliffe (2) and Martin Clapham also on target.

Allerton thrashed School Green 9-0 in Division 2B to ensure they remain top of the table as Ben Omelia, who scored five times, and veteran Jodie Crompton (2) dominated proceedings.

Idle United come out on top against Forresters 8-5 to stay in touch with the top half of the group.

But Buttershaw Open Age drop to third place after losing 2-1 to Beldon Sports, Nicky Boshell replying to goals from Haji Mohammed and John White.

Britannia Shipley are up to second from sixth after hitting five without response against Towngate.

Woodbottom conceded an early goal but hit back to thump George Hotel Reserves 8-2 in Division 3A as Mark Burnham scored four times and Charlie Flaherty added a superb solo effort.

Napoleon had Luke Wilcock (2), Rob McFadden and Marvin Edmondson on target but had to settle for a 4-4 draw against The Queen.

Quarry Reserves went down 3-2 to Cornwall Youths and Delius FC ran out 2-1 winners against Dynamo Delius, who operate out of the same pub. Jason Linklater's brace was decisive for the winners.

Stocks Lane United logged their first Division 3B win of the season in fine style as they accounted for fellow strugglers Salthorn 6-0.

Prospect moved second as they beat New Inn Wyke 3-2, despite goals from Shane Smith and Rob Ramsden for New Inn, and Top House Crusaders beat Sporting by the same margin after strikes from Michael Murphy, Andy Warren and Jason Kershaw.

Queen Hotel stayed in the promotion hunt with a 3-1 home victory over Nab Wood Juniors Res, with Guy Humphries, Colin Rogers and Mathew Green-ough getting the goals.

Ring o' Bells Reserves fought hard to emerge 2-1 winners against higher-placed Ember Hounds. Darren Rand and Paul French were the goal heroes.

Division Four leaders Bradford Youth maintained their 100 per cent start with a 5-2 win over Bradford Moor YSA, Waheed Khan grabbing a hat-trick.
