Keith Lulia has confirmed he is to return home to Australia at the end of the season and Jamie Langley also looks increasingly likely to leave the Bulls.

Langley’s current deal is due to expire at the end of the year and coach Francis Cummins revealed he has not been offered a new contract.

James Donaldson has been offered a deal and is mulling it over while Cummins is still waiting to hear Heath L’Estrange and Danny Addy’s plans for next year.

It has been a busy few weeks behind the scenes at Odsal, with Warrington’s Garreth Carvell and Huddersfield’s Dale Ferguson signing up for 2014 while Matt Diskin and Manase Manuokafoa have both penned new deals.

Cook Islands centre Lulia arrived from Newcastle Knights on a two-year deal at the start of last year and is hoping to find a club back in the NRL.

His wife Kelly gave birth to a baby boy last week and Lulia said that was the primary reason behind his decision to head back Down Under.

He explained: “Everyone knows that my wife has been expecting a baby and it will be good to raise our son around family back home in Wollongong.

“I’m happy at Bradford, I like the footy here, and it will be sad to leave because I’ve had a good two years here and made some good friends during that time.

“I had a contract here for two years so it works out quite well with the baby having arrived.”

Lulia emerged as one of the best overseas imports in Super League last season and attracted admiring glances from several clubs, with Leeds tabling an offer that was turned down by the Bulls last October.

Although he has not managed to scale those heights on a regular basis this term, Lulia has still been a virtual ever-present.

The 26-year-old, who should represent the Cook Islands in the World Cup later this year, added: “Obviously Leeds are a top club but I was comfortable at Bradford.

“I just wanted to finish my contract here and once the season has finished, we will head back – possibly after the World Cup if I get selected.

“I want to finish the season off on a high and we certainly haven’t given up on the play-offs and will keep fighting to the death.”

Langley’s future also appears to lie away from Bradford, with his contract up at the end of the year.

Cummins said of the club’s longest-serving player: “As things stand, Jamie hasn’t been offered a deal.

“Jamie has to look after himself and we’ve got to work through who we want in that middle department.

“There might be something later on but at the moment I’ve got to do what’s best for Bradford.”

L'Estrange has an option to leave the Bulls at the end of this season and is considering his future, with his wife pregnant with their first child.

Cummins said: “We need to know as soon as possible because I could be losing my joint-captain.”

Meanwhile, the Bulls are making an official complaint to the RFL about the tackling techniques used by Wigan in both Friday’s Super League clash and the Under-19s game the following day, which saw a mass brawl at the end of the game.

Matty Blythe and Adam Sidlow have been left nursing knee injuries from Friday’s game and Cummins said: “I’m not happy about the injuries at all because the tackling technique of Wigan wasn’t right and I’ve brought this up with the RFL.

“The game’s tough enough without people targeting knees – it’s three men in and the third man diving in on the knees.

“It definitely happened with Blythe and Sidlow had one against him but we’re not sure if that incident caused the injury.

“The Under-19s then had a game on Saturday where it was worse. It flared up when the lads had had enough and they’ve tried to take it into their own hands. We’re showing footage of the incidents to the RFL.”
