Bradford Gymkhana are new leaders of Bradford Mutual Sunday School League Group A after they beat Girlington and previous table-toppers Interlink were defeated by Cambing.

Girlington made 263 all out, Zafar Ali scoring 70 and Qaisar Jauen 59, while Gymkhana’s Tariq Hussain took 5-57.

Bradford passed the big total with two wickets to spare, Mohammed Shiraz top-scoring with 70 not out and Fiayz Khan making 69 not out.

Interlink were held to 151-6 as Hafiz Waqas took 4-53. Ubaid Khan then racked up 50 to help Cambing pass the score for the loss of seven wickets.

Bradford Moor also tasted defeat, losing to Great Horton Church, who replace them in second place. Moor’s 157 all out (Jahang Zeb 70) was not enough as Church made it home with six wickets to spare, Mohammed Waleed scoring 51 not out and Muhammed Kashif 43.

Waheed Ur Rehman scored 91 not out as Salem Athletic defeated Omars by nine wickets. Omars batting first had made 131-6, with Shabbir Hussain scoring 64 not out.

Heaton continued their winning streak with a four-wicket success over Hallfield (152), thanks in the main to 70 not out from Husaram Khalid.

Yorkshire LPS were top scorers in Group B with 209 all out against Bowling Baptists, who replied with 164 all out as Akhtar Mahmood’s 111 proved in vain.

Leaders Apperley Bridge won again but only just. Salem Athletic batted first and made 130 all out in 34 overs. Apperley Bridge replied with 131-8 in 33 overs and five balls.

Girlington are up to third place after their win over Cross Roads & Daisy Hill. Gary Hopkin (4-40) was chief destroyer as Girlington were out for 163 but 4-22 for H Iqbal saw Daisy back in the hut for just 64.

Bradford Gymkhana cruised to a ten-wicket win over Allerton, who were dismissed for only 87, despite 41 from Akhil Mukunder. Faizi Khan then scored 57 not out as the total was passed without loss.

The match between Greenfield and Mayfield was abandoned due to the weather with Greenfield on 146-5, Qamar Hassan scoring 45 and Rabnawaz 48.

Group C leaders Mandhata lost their first match of the
season to second-placed VVS Laxman, who made 158 all out (Mukesh Bhatt 4-33). Mandhata fell short on 133 as Viney Chauhan claimed 4-24.

Great Horton Church are third after defeating Cambing by seven wickets. Cambing’s 148 all out proved insufficient, with Siam Butt making 51 not out and Aqib Hussain 40 for the winners. Umair Bham took 5-49 for Cambing.

West Bowling defeated Bradford Indians by five wickets after Mohammed Rafiq took 4-20 to see Indians all out for 77. Gaurang Gandhi then took 4-23 but it was not enough as West Bowling passed the score with five wickets down.

Great Horton Meths had an easy nine-wicket win over Hallfield, who were all out for 83. Paul Cuthbertson then scored 47 not out as Meths passed the score for the loss of one wicket.

In Group D Muff Field A's batters were on form at Mayfield, making 251-1. Steve Broadbent scored 74 not out, Frank Powell 72 and Wade Smith 54 not out. In reply Mayfield were all out for 79.

Yorkshire LPS increased their lead at the top after defeating Muff Field B by three wickets, Muff Field B making 141 all out.

Buttershaw St Paul's had to settle for a winning draw against Central YMCA. Buttershaw made 152-5, with Mark Greenwood top scorer on 57 not out. He then took 4-24 as YMCA held out at 134-9. Steve Toothill was their top scorer with 63.
