THE bride who wins our £7,000 wedding will have her bespoke gown tailormade by a gifted Runcorn seamstress.

Cutting edge fashion designer Natalie Beard will offer her a choice of 10 designs to choose from.

The fabric, detail, and finishing touches will be unique.

Natalie, aged 28, of Sutton Park, has her own design studio at The Heath Business and Technical Park.

She has already created many bespoke dresses for brides.

Some girls, she said, have copied the style bridesmaid Pippa Middleton wore at her sister Kate’s royal wedding to Prince William and opted for a simple, sleek design.

Others have chosen the recent trend of fish tails.

Natalie said: “I love weddings and focussing on the bride. It is exciting.

“It is something a girl plans from when she is little and she usually has some ideas in mind.

“I will work with the bride and give her a few samples of fabric and fillings.

“It is quite personal and will depend on what she likes and wants from the dress.”

Natalie recently opened a showroom beside her studio.

She said: “When you are getting a made to measure gown, it will fit your shape.

“You can cover the bits you don’t want to show and feel comfortable.

“It is lovely when the bride comes in for her first fitting, usually with her mum and bridesmaids. There have been a few happy tears.

“It’s such a big day, anything we can do to make it extra special will be a bonus.”
