Spring has definitely not sprung for the Bradford BMX Winter Series.
The fifth and final round at Peel Park attracted 36 riders but they were greeted by sub-zero temperatures and the odd flutter of snow.
Richard Bowkett won the opening fiercely-contested TROHMS race, and that was followed by the Formula Five race, Jake Archer continuing his dominance by winning for the third time in three outings.
Some riders were as young as five, and Harvey Davidson came an impressive fifth in the final on debut.
In Formula Four, Bobby Kristovic matched Archer in getting a treble, as did Ben Huskisson in Formula Three, despite strong showings from Jed Philip and George Lucas.
David Biancardo showed why he is being elevated to Formula One by winning all three Formula Two races, while in Formula One Ellis Burgess took the final race to claim the points and the plaudits.
In the Super Class, a rare Martin Ogden error allowed Josh Thewlis in to take first place in the final.
Over 80 have taken part in the Winter Series, and the Summer Series starts next month!
