Quarter-finals are a step too far for Bradford quartet

Harry Hall was man of the match for Wibsey Warriors in their Pennine President's Cup quarter-final defeat
In the quarter-finals of the Pennine President's Cup, Wibsey Warriors, Bank Top Harriers and Birkenshaw all suffered defeats.
Wibsey lost out to Slaithwaite Saracens 24-22, despite Harry Hall's man-of-the-match display. Try-scorers for Wibsey were Mike Derricks (2), Ryan Smith and Nick Fontaine.
Bank Top put up brave resistance against a strong Drighlington side before going down 24-6. The Harriers try came from James Banks, converted by Adam Mitchell.
Birkenshaw were soundly beaten 76-8 by up-and-coming Methley Royals.
Undercliffe Wildboars' run in the Andrew Bennett Memorial Trophy also came to an end at the last eight at the hands of Dodworth as they were defeated 54-4.
Cliffe battled hard but were outgunned by their Barnsley opposition. Carl McGuigan scored Cliffe's try and there were strong performances from Aidan Scully and Kaz Ahmed.
West Bowling maintained second spot in the Pennine League Championship Division thanks to a cracking 27-22 win over close rivals Nevison Leap.
Jason Marshall and Will Forsyth led the way with two tries each, while Tom Martin also crossed. Liam Martin collected the man of the match award.
In Division Three, Odsal Sedbergh had a comfortable 36-18 win over Woodhouse Warriors.
Sedge try-scorers were Andy Gabriel (2), Robert Priestley (2), James Sharp, Jared Priestley and Shaun Flynn.
