Bradford Grammar School pupils Rory Macnab, (Skipton), Barney Vaughan (Ilkley) and Zander MacFarlane (Brighouse) were selected for the Lambs North of England under-13 representative side who won a national tournament at Rugby School.
The competition was especially tough this year as entry had been thrown open to all independent schools across the north, not just preparatory schools.
The Northern Lambs defeated the Midlands and South-West and drew with the South-East. Macnab captained the side in the South-East match, before the day ended with a photo opportunity with All Black legend Zinzan Brooke (pictured).
Bradford Grammar School headmaster Kevin Riley said: “It is always a pleasure to see hard work and effort rewarded. All three boys thoroughly deserve recognition at this level.”
