Silsden suffer heavy defeat

Silsden were on the wrong end of a 4-1 home defeat against Colne in the North West Counties Premier Division.

The visitors took an early lead through Ashley Carter.

Kristian Evans added a second before Jason Hart put Colne 3-0 up going into the interval.

Kevin Ryan pulled one back minutes into the second half. Hart claimed his second but his evening ended in disgrace as he picked up a straight red card for verbal abuse after being caught offside.
