Driving around Brighton you can see the new 20mph limits and the covered-up signs.
The A259 coast road appears to be 30mph as the side turning has speed signs. The A270 towards Lewes appears to be 30mph but the A23 past St Peter’s Church has been sprayed with 20mph.
Also, if you come along Eastern Road at the top of Edward Street the speed limit changes again. Is there any logic to which roads have which limits?
