It's not hard to identify them when they are taking pictures of the tickets containing there seat number details which are all linked to a name.

yes strange she wasn't on any of the footage. I hope they did afta queue though and that her sad tale meant she jumped the queue......

Morning guys. I feel I need to post this message to you all. It's regarding LSR cameras. I know they almost a thing of the past lol. but quite a few people still possess them. I have one myself and I actually spoke to wembley about their rules on this matter and they told me that LSR cameras are NOT allowed to be brought into the stadium. you eather let them confiscate them or you will not be admitted into the stadium. Wembley say that they are regarded as items for professional use. ie. removable lenses and attachable zooms. Yeh sounds crazy but it's true. I've let Simon parker know so he can also advise everyone in the T&A and I have just spoken to the club to ask them to get that Info on the website. I hope this info has been of some help lads. Oh yeh, DIGITAL cameras are ok.

when i left last night at 1900 a few hundred tickets were still available ??

i assume on sale this morning ..

City did well overall yesterday looking after the fans ... but it came a little too late ...and left many loyal fans far too exposed to the yorkshire elements ..

The fans should not have been left exposed for so long ... there were young children with parents (questionable parent responsibility in the night i know) ...and wheelchair bound people ...queing in the freezing cold rain ...in the dark ...

but they probably expected some cover to be forthcoming from city ...

the ground covers 24000 !!!!!

Once it could be seen that 200 people were there at 22.00 hours on Wed night ... an immediate under cover entry system should have been put in place .

City should have had the id checking desk at the far end of the coop stand ..

this would have easily swallowed up , under cover in an instant , the 500 that had arrived by 04.00 am on thursday ...

then once the indoors checks had been made ..the then under cover queued fans could have made there way to the civilsed part of the plan ...up to the mcall suite .....

the stewards were magnificent and cant be praised highly enough but they needed better leadership in the plan ...

look after the people under cover !!.... they were showing you who would risk so much for the club ..and how much they loved it...

in the end a response came ..but the id wallpaper pasting desks were placed wrongly ....at the entry of the ground ... leaving people quining outside !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

simplez .... just make note and lets make sure next time the id checks are under cover at the far end of the cover ...

doh !!

now i have thawed out .... and not caught double pneumonia ...hopefully ..

i can start to get ready for the biggest miracle ever in World football ...

we will have 11 players ... 55k fans as we will have the neutrals ...

and more importantly we will have 56

Numpty - why should the club pay to staff the ground just so that people who chose to queue up early can be under cover.

Nobody was forcing these people to be there.

Aleximo I had just the opposite response. I contacted Wembley regarding Cameras with detachable lenses. They told me mine would be perfectly Ok its people with Lenses the size of small rocket launchers that would not be allowed in

NorthernBull - how utterly ridiculous to complain at how City dealt with accommodating the queuing supporters! Those supporters CHOSE to go there and queue overnight - nobody forced them to. I was actually astonished that the club opened its doors to look after those people but actually extremely proud of them for doing so - they had absolutley no obligation to do so - they are not a charity and no doubt it would have cost them to open their doors and provide shelter and warmth and pay staff in the process. The staff present will have given up their night to do so too. It shouldnt matter one jot how they handled it - the fact is they didnt have to do it but they did yet you still find something to complain about? Utterly utterly utterly ungrateful! So basically you're saying anything with a removable lens will be banned/confiscated but a 'Compact Digital' point and shoot is ok?

I queued from 1215 on Wednesday and enjoyed the atmosphere with very nice people all day and night long it was an awesome experience and I would do it all again if I had to. Bradford City were not obliged to do anything for us it was our choice to do so. I haven't stopped buzzing since 1000 yesterday when I got my tickets see you all on Sunday 24th.

Joint-chairman willing to throw their doors open to the lowest deserving of all those attending the final.

It is just a shame it was impossible to calculate a % just over the "3 for 1" deal in order to eradicate these hangers-on completely.

66% of 3 should have been the allocation to ST / flexi holders ..in the first week ..as the online site allowed large linked group purchases anyway.


then a further opportunity to sell up to 5000 13/14 ST's was in play by making 13/14 st's valid for wembley ticket qualification .... with each new hanger on ST purchaser entitled to 2 online tickets each for the second week of sales ..

result possible 15000 ST's next season ...

£1 million new revenue

Then a general sale to mop up remaining tickets ....

It has turned out ok ... as the vast majority of people have tickets ....all got them that queued on the first day of the general sale ..

but next year there will still be just 10000 ST's ..

a missed opportunity ... and a lot of empty seats in a big stadium ..

that the club will never own again ..if it fails to seize the opportunities presented by its superb cup run this season ...

what is disgusting,more than my words of complaint, is wheelchair bound people and children stood for 6 hours and more in the freezing cold rain ...but you obviously werent there to see the doors were not thrown open as indicated at 01.30 am...

I spent my time in the que, I didn't expect to be there from 07.00 to 15.45,that was too long, that said we had a good time, (I liked the capital radio girl asking the young lad's behind us what they were doing there), and in the que was the racial intergration we so need,(good), the (horse) berger van running out of food and drink at about 10.30 was a bit stupid, and City could have made a killing selling food in the lounge at a fair price (coffee 50p,not bad) and at least we were in the warm, but in the end we got our tickets,so Wembley here we come.

Have we got the biggest set of whiney, moaning, ungrateful, miserable sods or what? Jeez!

I hope they took the time to get a ticket for that match whilst at the Ground. It will save time on the night.

It's sad that City's success has brought out the both the VERY BEST AND WORST out of people connected or not connected to the club:

Camaraderie amongst fans, helping one another re: getting to Wembley etc.

Getting 'behind' the club

Bringing back a terrific 'atmosphere' to 'VP' with the singing/noise from home supporters in the stands

The response from some other Lge Two clubs has been magnanimous/friendly

(See 'City Gent') with other teams/supporters wishing us well

The benefit to Bradford itself with 'City' replacing the weather as main talking point and the 'buzz' in the town that is tangible and a bit of pride in our town

Worst:

The carping spiteful (at times viscious) comments directed at non-season ticket holding supporters and others who are keen to attend the game and..who have 'committed a sin/crime' in the eyes of some other fans for NO being a 'regular'

Those sellng tickets on-line and elsewhere to make a 'fast buck' out of fellow supporters and thinking this is 'acceptable'

The 'scorning' of people prepared to 'brave the elements' to get a ticket for the game (would people REALLY do this if they 'didn't' care about City/Bradford?

The 'one-upmanship-sanct
imomniousnous' displayed by some fans who think they are BETTER than other supporters for whatever reason (!!??!!)

The truth is this is fone of the highest points in the history o the club and we should savour it (without rancour) for until we know the result of the game, we have to accept it MIGHT not get any better than this. As the young Asian lad said to me, as I was buying a paper at a newspaper kiosk in the city centre the other day, " CITY ARE WINNERS..whatever the result on 24 February...aren't they?"

I couldn't help agree with his thoughtful comment and feel, perhaps the biggest gain is bringing all the people of Bradford together, (even just for a short time).

It's just a pity, it was slightly 'tainted' ..with all the other..'stuff.'

Bradford City has a famous moaners corner. I think most of them have expressed that on here.

Overheard in Pub today, before leaving to go to the Bulls match.

A 'Fan' asked his &"mate", who was a season ticket holder and only wanted one, to get two more as his allowance,for the 'mate'.

Season ticket holder did as was asked, but when he met with fan/mate he wanted £150.00 per ticket .

Result: Season ticket holder now has two tickets he doesnt want, the friendship no longer exists and apparently so called Friend went to VP and bought two tickets, as there apparently were 100 not yet sold.

That is the (small) risk a ticket 'sitter' runs. Be they regular fan, part time fan, season ticket holder or bandwagon jumper, if they are looking for a quick profit and the potential buyers revolt, they run the small risk of being left with spare tickets they do not want, or have to offload them at a loss.

The resolution is therefore simple.. Dont buy from such sources. Do hardcore fans have the willpower to turn the opportunity down?

It is all conjecture in terms of who decides to buy a season ticket for 2013-2014.

I am not clear in terms of the various percentages (for example, "66% of 3"; that sounds like two) and numbers you have estimated but what you seem to be suggesting is that more tickets should have been made available to those willing to invest in 2013-2014?
