Salts want league form to transfer to District Cup
7:50pm Thursday 14th February 2013 in Sport By Philip Rhodes
Danny Lyness is on the attack for Salts, who have a Bradford & District FA Challenge Cup tie at Fields on Saturday
After both Bradford & District FA Challenge Cup games were postponed last month, the remaining quarter-finals - Fields v Salts and Thackley v Tyersal - will hopefully be played on Saturday.
Salts, who were finalists last season when they lost to Campion 2-1, will be hoping to their league form transfers.
Tyersal missed out on a semi-final place in the West Riding County FA Challenge Cup two weeks ago when they lost 6-4 at home to Rimington.
Steeton, who have played five more games than their West Riding County Amateur League Premier Division rivals Bay Athletic and four more than Ovenden West Riding, will be seeking to keep the pressure on with a victory when they host second-from-bottom Littletown.
Bay, meanwhile, will play their local rivals Golcar United, Ovenden are involved in the Halifax & District FA Cup, and Campion will visit Hall Green United.
