Cross Roads’ Jenny Cowen has repeated her silver medal showing of last year in the ten-metre synchronised event at the British Gas Diving Championships at Plymouth Life Centre.
The 21-year-old scored 304.14 points with City of Leeds clubmate Rebecca Gallantree to finish behind European champions Tonia Couch and Sarah Barrow, who beat their own British record from the Olympic trials with 327.66 in defending their title.
Youngsters Georgia Ward (Crystal Palace) and Shanice Lobb (Plymouth) took bronze on 272.28.
Couch and Barrow have been training together full-time in Plymouth since finishing fifth at last year’s Olympic Games.
Cowen was also fourth in the women’s ten-metre final with a score of 287.05 points, behind Couch (365.20), Barrow (297.25) and teenager Georgia Ward (292.90).
Bradford’s Sam Thornton (City of Leeds) was fifth in the men’s final with 321.00, Tom Daley taking gold with 501.00.
