Treble golds for Kamran Hamard and Holly Waxman

Members of Bradford Esprit Diving Club put in a number of notable performances at a regional event.

The club competed against City of Leeds, Harrogate Diving Club and Darlington Diving Club in the the North East Regional Age Group Championships.

Kamran Hamard, 17, finished the event at the John Charles Centre in Leeds with three gold medals and personal best scores for all his events.

He was the highest-ranking competitor for the club, becoming regional champion (Group A boys) for one-metre and three-metre springboard and platform.

Holly Waxman, 11, also took gold medals for each of her three events - the one-metre, three-metre and platform.

Other successful divers were Evie Webb, 14, (girls' Group B) and Max Roper, 13, (boys' Group C), who became regional champion on the three-metre springboard.

Another medal winner was William Hallam, 13, who finished third in the men's open platform event.

Other medal winners were Jake Rose (individual), Dominique Hinchcliffe (individual and synchro), Gina Webb (individual and synchro), Oliver Hallam (individual), Ella Foster (individual) and Ruby Bower (individual and synchro).
