Cleckheaton Boxing Academy’s Callum Grace claimed a Yorkshire title in the national schoolboy championships – and hopes to go one better on Sunday.

The 12-year-old (pictured with coaches Andy Grocutt and Kadir Khan) competes in the quarter-finals of the English event against North-West region winner George Frost (Beartown ABC).

Callum was crowned county king at class one 38kg after a convincing win over Hunslet Boys’ Ivan Price.

His success is reward for several years' dedication after the youngster started at the gym - headed up by Keith Tate - aged eight.
