Leeds United set to hand out debuts to Steves
8:50pm Thursday 7th February 2013 in Sport By Sports Desk
New signing Steve Morison has been doing extra training with Leeds United this week
Leeds United could well hand out two debuts on Saturday at Wolves.
New signings Steve Morison and Stephen Warnock could both figure at Molineux in the npower Championship clash.
Morison, who has arrived from Norwich City but whose first appearance for Leeds was delayed by a thigh injury, has been in full training with the senior squad all week, as well as putting in some additional sessions.
United boss Neil Warnock is optimistic Morison will make the cut this time, saying: “We’ve done a little bit of extra work with him as well to make sure there’s no comeback and so we can have a good look.
“Steve is a player I wanted here, and I’m hoping we will have him involved tomorrow.
“He hasn’t started a lot of games this season but I know what he’s about, and it’s about getting him to speed.”
Warnock could also come into contention after being an unused substitute last weekend against Cardiff last weekend.
His namesake boss said: “Stephen is an experienced left back but I felt last week was too soon for him.”
