Cleckheaton are expecting a decent crowd for their SSE North One East match at home to leaders Beverley on Saturday.

Club spokesman Alan Bentley explained: "We have a pre-match luncheon for 150, so we can expect 250-300 supporters in all."

Cleckheaton are at strength, with Lee Queeley back in the centre and only second row Danny Nolan absent, but they are having to wear a 2.30pm kick-off.

Bentley said: "We wanted to kick-off at 3pm under lights, as we always do when we have a pre-match function, but Beverley thought that might give us an advantage as we are more used to playing under lights than them.

"But we haven't lost in 2013 yet, beating Old Crossleyans, Morpeth and Pocklington and would like to keep that run going."

Cleckheaton (home to Beverley): R Hayden; M Woodhead, L Queeley, Matt Piper, J Wilson; I Gordon, J Bickerdike; P Turner, B Thrower, A Piper, R Piercy, G Turton, N Salama, O Akroyd, R Piper. Replacements: C Piper, R Bennett, Craig Blackburn.
