BRADFORD & DISTRICT SEA AC
Could all members who won trophies last year return them for the next general meeting so they can be engraved ready for the presentation evening in March. The 2013 trip calendar has now been finalised and a copy will be distributed at the general meeting, which is on Tuesday, February 19. Members are reminded that subs are now due. We have held the price at £10 again this year. Anyone interested in joining should come along to the next meeting, where you will be made most welcome. Anyone interested in some inshore fishing at Whitby or the Mersey in the coming months should call Dave on 07711-987833 so he can plan a trip.
BRADFORD PALS AC
Our first match of the season is on Sunday, February 17 at Lindholme Lakes on Laurels Lake. The cafe opens at 7.15am and the draw is at 9am. You must use their feed pellets (no exceptions). Further to the rule change at the annual general meeting, every member is now automatically booked on to every match. It is your responsibility to advise the match secretary if you are not fishing. If you are not fishing the next match you must book off before this Sunday by calling Andy Clough on 07810-185862 or you will be charged for a peg fee.
BRADFORD No1 AA
Annual membership is still available from all the usual tackle shop agents, the ticket and licence secretary and online at www.bradfordno1.com. Anglers who were members last year have the whole of 2013 to renew their yearbook without having to pay the joining fee but must have renewed prior to fishing. Junior membership is just £5 for the year and includes free entry to our two junior matches. Anglers are reminded to take care when fishing this weekend, with slippery banks and freezing water conditions to be expected.
LISTERHILLS AA
The best fish reported in recent weeks is a pike weighing 16lb 4oz. But most catches have been on the light side because of the weather conditions. We still require someone to act as a watcher on the Leeds-Liverpool Canal stretches. Applications for Leeds Amalgamation membership will be dealt with immediately.
FIELD AC
Could members note that the opening match of the season at Forest Lane has been cancelled due to some cup final that is taking place. Our first match will now be on Sunday, March 17 on Alders at Sessay. Thank you to all those who turned up for the annual general meeting. Hope we all have a great season.
HEWENDEN AC
The next coarse match is this Sunday, with a 9am draw in the car park. It costs £10 all in and all members are welcome. If there are any proposals for the annual general meeting, send them to the PO box address in your book before March 1.
BINGLEY AC
Rivers fished well at the weekend, with reports of chub from Kearby and grayling from Goldsborough. There is a committee meeting this coming Tuesday and hopefully a work party at Coppice pond on Sunday, February 17. All are welcome.
