They might have lacked first choice halves, but the core of the team were similar to the team that won 7 on the trot last season, they also boosted their forward pack with Justin Poore (origin forward).

I agree hull will be tougher, but it was still a very good performance on Sunday, Still could do with cover at prop, but the ones we have look able to match any teams.

Sammut and Kearney look to be working well together, as the Leeds and Wakefield games showed. But credit has to go to the pack for dominating opposing pack, thus allowing the halves to supply the outside backs with plenty of ball. Sammut is the type of player every club needs, he his unpredictable in what he does on the field. Foster doing a fine job at full back and with his goal kicking. Though a major test is this Friday at KC stadium.

Here's a thought, if Gale and Purtell come back at the same time (If I remember right Purtell's back early March and Gale's out til then now with the latest lay off) and teh rest of teh team keep playing as they are, who do you drop?

I assume most people would drop Platt for Purtell, but who would you drop (if anyone) for Gale with Foster, Kearney and Sammut all playing as well as they have been?

Rotation is the answer, and it will be a tough choice but what a luxury! Particulary if it's not injuries that dictate the choice FC has to make, between all those good players.

Sammut joined Crusaders halfway through 2010 with 17 matches left of the season. He played in 12 of those matches and scored 5 tries. In 2011 he played in 21 out of 27 matches, scoring 12 tries. So in his time at Crusaders he played in 75% of matches and scored better than a try every two matches.

Pretty good stats in my opinion.

They are good stats but some brain dead posters don’t let facts get in the way of a good troll post.
