Bulls 40, Wakefield 6
Francis Cummins enjoyed a dream start to his reign as Bulls head coach as Wakefield were thumped at the Provident Stadium this afternoon.
Jarrod Sammut was the star of the show with two tries but all three debutants – Matty Blythe, Adam Sidlow and Jamie Foster – touched down in a superb team display.
Michael Platt began the blitz when he went over in the left corner to cap a fine array of inter-passing before Blythe and Sidlow charged over from close range.
Sammut, who was at the heart of all the Bulls’ best moves, then scampered clear from the base of a scrum for a fourth home try.
Six minutes after the break, Foster touched down a teasing grubber kick from the impressive Brett Kearney and then more fine footwork from Sammut gave him his second.
Wakefield grabbed a consolation when centre Dean Collis raced clear from inside his own half after a kick was charged down.
But there was still time for Kearney to power clear from 30 metres out and Foster kicked his sixth goals from seven attempts.

If things are run tightly maybe.
Only 4 signed 10 or 12 out.
Thinned out a bit with top heavy wages hopefully and they still perform better against wakefield than towards the end of last season.
This coach hopefully has them fitter still.
You dont need to pay megabucks for has beens to achieve success.Lets wait and see but this is very exciting for everyone and Omar will be smiling all week.
You"ve got to admire the guy.He clearly loves the club. He"s no multi milionaire but that can lead to more problems than their worth.
Build with Bullbuilder and the young uns hopefully will aspire up to the plate with the seasoned campaigners
Fantastic start with a better points difference than leeds after 1

Its about time everyone got behind any suiccess coming this sad citys way whether in claret and amber or red black and amber. Not forgetting the green and white of Bradford Park Avenue where all Bulls fans are always welcomed, given they were once joined at the hip.(a very long time ago now but the origins of the Bulls and Northern"s association with Bradford Park Avenue go back to the late 19th century.
A week on saturday Bulls fans may be able to take in both Avenue and Bulls games.
And this year the Avenue are playing in Red Amber and Black.
Bradfords Bouncing Back?(Sportingly speaking)

There was no prejudice (well, apart from against the wildcats, which was expected), no racism and no off pitch violence towards the opposing teams fans. Just people out to have a good afternoon, watching a game they love, cheering on their team
In the toilets, I spotted someone wearing a wildcats top, in the middle of Bulls fans, and my first thought was "He is brave". But he was left unhindered and unharrassed. I wonder if he would have received the same courtesy had it been a toilet full of football fans(or even come out alive).
The wildcats were applauded by the Bulls for their try, which in my view was a very good try and deserved applause.
The vehicle exit from Richard Dunne Car park was extremely well managed by the police/stewards and I was out within ten minutes.
In spite of the bitter cold, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I know its a long time since I attended a football match, but I was put off sometime ago by the mindless violence that took place against the opposing teams fans (and vice versa), and the property damage which took place. I did not wish to be part of that scene and have never returned.
I do not know, but I wonder if nowadays, football is as civilised as Rugby.

You've obviously never attended a Bulls Hull or Bulls Hull KR game 5/6 years ago when they were fighting in Manchester Road ?, you will be made more than welcome to attend Bradford City Vs Gillingham this coming Saturday you will not see any violence here either football has change just as rugby has over the years.

Both yourself and Alfuchu are both a pair of no marks, hell bent on causing bother. Neither you or Alfuchu, would dare to meet Sheffield or myself, face to face. Inveterate liars and cowards, both, hiding behind key boards. Name the place and time. We'll be there. Mind you will your careers let you out?
