Rebekah Tiler grabs handful of British records

Rebekah Tiler makes her international debut this weekend
Denholme’s Rebekah Tiler warmed up for her international debut in Sweden this Saturday by breaking five British records in the Northern Schools’ Championship at Ashington in Northumberland.
The Year Nine Bingley Grammar School student snatched 75kg and clean and jerked 96kg for a total of 171kg.
Not to be left entirely in the shade, her younger sisters Sophie and Lisa – who also train at Mytholmroyd Weightlifting Club – also took gold medals.
Sophie, a Year Five pupil, snatched 17kg and clean and jerked 25kg for a combined 42kg.
And Lisa, who is in Year Three, snatched 16kg and clean and jerked 24kg for a total of 40kg.
